I am transgender.
That will always be a core part of who I am.
Transition is the part of me that some day, I will be able to let go. There will be a day, I hope, that I can say, “I am me. I am no longer in transition. I am just me.”
Of course I am speaking very specifically about physical transition.
I have always been female. I will always be female, no matter what I look like on the outside. I fully understand that now and I am so happy to have accepted myself. I will always be in transition as I seek to be a better human.
I was having so much trouble separating the two.
